The Himalayas are one of the most famous mountains in the world, and certainly the highest! The Himalayas have many mountains above 6000 meters and even have the highest mountain in the world: Mount Everest at 8800 meters. The area of the Himalayas is enormous and spreads over 5 countries: Nepal, India, Pakistan, Bhutan and Tibet. Many different peoples and cultures live there.

The most accessible country is Nepal. Nepal is geared towards trekking tourism. There are many beautiful treks to make in Nepal, such as to Everest Base Camp of the Annapurna Circuit

1. Everest Base Camp: One of Nepal's most spectacular treks! This trip of at least 11 days takes you to the foot of the Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world at 8,800 meters. You walk through forests of Rhododendron bushes, over high suspension bridges, past Nepalese villages and ultimately through an otherworldly landscape where you are surrounded by glaciers and high mountain peaks. After reaching Everest Base Camp you walk back the same way, but a lot faster. 

2. Three Passes Trek: The toughest trek in the Everest region and also one of the longest treks with 18 days! If you are ready for this challenge, he will deliver the best of the Khumbu region via a circuit; Everest Base Camp, Gokyo lakes and three beautiful mountain passes.
